I was getting ready to make my lunch, and my roommate Becky was taking out the trash when all of a sudden she started yelling at somebody--"You broke my car!". I went out to see what was going on, and a homeless woman had broken the rear window wiper off of Becky's truck. Becky continued to yell at her, and the woman said, "I'm sorry--I'm just mad about the war."

Becky continued yelling at her, and she came back with the wiper still in her hand, and she says, "I didn't take it"--just as she's dropping the wiper on the edge of the flower bed.

Becky threatened to call the police; the woman said she didn't think she would, Becky's like see if I don't, goes back into the house and gets her phone. We've never seen this woman before, and Becky got a partial description. Hopefully the woman left usable prints and the cops can charge her. I didn't see if she was wearing gloves or not. Possibly this woman didn't score any drugs or something is what she meant. But that's still no call for her to damage other people's property. Becky has insurance, but with a $500 deductible, it's like having no insurance.
Pray this woman is caught and gets the help she obviously needs, and that Becky can afford to repair or replace the wiper.
