I mentioned in another thread that this was really hard to judge. All our mini-Challengeers did really well. Making a decision was so hard (even had to call in for back-up once we had our top three).
Anyway, the winner of the completely unofficial Easter Then and Now Mini-Challenge is............LIFE CHANGES, CHRIST REMAINS by Lynn Gipsonhttp://www.faithwriters.com/article-det ... ?id=157971
That turned out to be the unanimous top choice, closely followed by the two runners up:
Redefining Easter by Judith Gayle Smithhttp://www.faithwriters.com/article-det ... ?id=158101
Waiting by Allison Egleyhttp://www.faithwriters.com/article-det ... ?id=158042
But as mentioned previously, well done to ALL eight mini-Challengeers who entered. You all did very well, and a special shout out to Richard Hicks for opting for prose (given the 180 word limit).
Lynn, your poem is already tucked away for the March 2014 issue of FW Magazine. I'll be back in touch nearer that time.
