Throw a Brick for CHILLAX

Postby Deb Porter » Sun Apr 13, 2014 3:06 am

Hi Challengeers. We have our winners for the CHILLAX Challenge, and you know what that means . . . it's brick throwing time. Grab your brick and get ready to toss one for your entry.

So if you have an entry in for the CHILLAX Challenge, now is the time to point a few more readers your way (as well as read some other great entries). It's time to "throw a brick" straight to your entry.

All you have to do is reply to this post with a direct link to your entry. If you aren't sure how to do that, we have a guide to help you here:

How to Post a Link to Your Entry

If you join in the brick throwing fun, please make sure you read and review the other brick throwers' entries as well. (There's a lot of good reading in there.) Also, please take note on the entries as to whether the author has requested red ink critique or not.

Have fun!

Love, Deb

This is my first entry in the Masters level; a category I would not have reached were it not for the support and critiques I received last quarter. All red ink is absolutely accepted and appreciated.

I'm looking forward to all comments and say a big thank you in advance to everyone who takes the time to read my entry; 'Dicing with Death': http://www.faithwriters.com/wc-article- ... p?id=48206

Red ink is always welcome and appreciated.

Blessings, Graham.
May we all get eyes to see and ears to hear,
A Revelation of His Word, crystal clear.
Admitting our need to be drawn in,
Less of self, more of Him.

My prayer for us all.
God bless us with the Revelation of His Word, Graham

Wow I felt a bit dusty and rusty for this one. I had hoped for a better entry as this is my first one for level 4. But hey, there's always next time. Catch:

Here's the link to mine. Going to try and see if I can participate in all of the challenges this quarter. As memory serves, though, the first one after a layoff is always a little rough, so any and all comments are welcome.

If the homeless touch your heart you might enjoy "A Mansion for John". I would love any critique you might give and appreciate the time you take to read my little story. The link is attached.

After a long time away from the challenge, 2008 to be exact, I finally submitted an article. It feels...new.

Here is my humble submission. I hope you learn something from Mr. Jack and his "Rockng Chair Wisdom." Over the years, I sure have.

I lay listening to the rainstorm, safely covered in my bed.
It seems the time I'm often dreaming, writing poems in my head.

Rainy Lullabye

(I liked the "e" on the end of the word "lullabye," but my spell-check didn't. What do you think?)
