Throw a Brick for ENDLESS

Postby Deb Porter » Sat Jan 18, 2014 6:10 am

Hi Challengeers.

We have our winners for the ENDLESS Challenge, so if you had an entry in for that topic, now is the time to point a few more readers your way (as well as read some other great entries). It's time to "throw a brick" straight to your entry.

All you have to do is reply to this post with a direct link to your entry. :D If you aren't sure how to do that, we have a guide to help you here:

How to Post a Link to Your Entry

If you would appreciate some constructive critique on your entry, please say RED INK WELCOME when you "throw your brick."

If you join in the brick throwing fun, please make sure you read and review the other brick throwers' entries as well. (There's a lot of good reading in there.)

(As always, if you would like a sample rating sheet to use when reading entries, please see this discussion: viewtopic.php?f=22&t=33906 )

Have fun!

Love, Deb

For any bricks to be thrown at this week’s entry, the first one need not be launched by someone without sin.
This one was hastily-compiled after a very busy and extremely hot week, and after very little thought. It has so few redeeming qualities that I feel like the atheistic Mormon – who knocks on your door for no reason whatsoever.
But if you want to unravel a thinly-disguised wordplay on the topic, you’re very welcome.

I really do enjoy red ink; it is a wonderful way to help me grow as a writer. So, here it is; go for it.

And thanks for all comments. Graham.
May we all get eyes to see and ears to hear,
A Revelation of His Word, crystal clear.
Admitting our need to be drawn in,
Less of self, more of Him.

My prayer for us all.
God bless us with the Revelation of His Word, Graham

Much shorter poem for me, but I pray the repeated phrases bear repeating . . .

BUCKETS OF RED INK WELCOME, THANKS!

There are rogue commas that somehow snook back in after I deleted them. They are there just to taunt me so I deliberately blank them. Hope you can do the same.

Okay, as I read back over this one, I could have done better. Hey, my big toe had a hangnail and the sun was in my eyes. For what it's worth...

It's been a while since I've submitted to the Challenge, so this one might need a little polishing up. Just don't blame P.J. :D

Comments/suggestions welcomed.
