Congratulations everyone! I forgot how fun the entire challenge experience was. I read many of those recognized above on my reading journey through the levels this week. Well done, indeed!!! After a short period of mild pouting, I'm pleased with me 19th place.

"A Glance in the Rear View Mirror" was very difficult for me to write. All those years of feeling that my value rested on the one driving the car had taken it's tole. I don't remember, as a child, ever being asked what I wanted to do. It just wasn't done that way. That kind of childhood results in fear and low self esteem but also ultimately in rebellion. I was most definately living a lie. On the outside I was a pleasant child, trying to please everyone (co-dependency) but on the inside I was rebelling and plotting how I would one day be free from it all. I was a good actress and played my part well but I soon had a mask that I could not remove. All of that spilled over into my marriage. Celebrate Recovery, through Jesus Christ, was my lifeline to freedom.
