Wow! I am so shocked! Thank you so much to the judges. The journey was a long one and I questioned whether God would lead us to a new home but am so thankful for my friend and for God's goodness. I actually sent this story to my almond popping friend a couple days ago and she was beyond thrilled and had a good laugh over the almonds. She eats them as a way of life so doesn't realize people notice her habit I don't think.

It's going to be a good day.

Thank you so much all you silent, invisible and anonymous judges - and to the members who posted comments on my entry, "And God Laughed!" I had a lot of fun recalling all my 'Carry On' capers from so long ago

A big congratulations to all the other members who placed too. Well done!

I was stunned to see my entry on Editors Choice. I wanted to share with all of my lovely writing friends, especially Deb and the FW coordinators, how much it meant to me this week. I've been in a slump for a while...you know, "life," pain and all that. I just couldn't seem to get to the point where what was in my head would come out through my fingertips and I haven't even been reading other entries. I literally sat down at the computer, said a prayer and forced myself to write something...anything, just to break these doldrums.

So, being chosen for EC was a special encouragement from God this week. Thank you for being His instrument for my enouragement. I've got a bounce in my step today that I've been missing lately.

And, congratulations to all the other winners! You inspire me!
