WOWWWWWW!!!! Woo-Hoo, Barb!!!!!!!! First place with that excellent piece. You so deserved it. The way you've persevered has inspired many of us. Congratulations:D.

Congrats to ALL the winners with a special shout out to Loren--Sam and I both loved that piece. And Henry. And Michael. And Cheryl. And Jim.

And, I guess I should stop. It just goes to show the friendships we make.

Thank you judges and fellow FWs for everything.

On we go...

Congratulations to everyone. I read some excellent entries this week. It was an interesting top ten, 5 men and 5 women, 6 poems  and 4 short-stories. And Michael's name three weeks in a row, or Master Michael (I still have to comment on your piece. It really hit home). Way to go Barbara, Brian, Cheryl, Kaylee and all the rest. And thank you judges for taking the time to try to figure my crazy entry out. The piece gave me a headache trying to keep it all straight and it still ain't right.

And, a big congrats to Lisa: an outstanding writer with an outstanding entry, and one of my all time favorites here.

That was my shortest entry ever. Perhaps Wordy Kaylee is dying? So glad to be recognized. I've been on a missions trip with deaf-blind people all week, so that piece wrote itself.

Congrats everybody!! Way to end the session, woo-hoooooo!!!!!!!!!!

Heartiest congrtulations to each of the special winners here.

Lisa, I knew that would special story would have to be a winner, and I love to see you at the top of the heap!

Loren, I should have known that gorgeous piece was yours. (You notice I loved it when I read it.)

Michael, looks like you're on to Masters to show all of us how it's done.

Henry, may I admit to a little envy (hopefully not too much to be a sin!) of your creative abilities. I laughed and laughed at your poem.

Barbara, I'm so proud of you for being the top of beginniners. It's definitely time to move on up. That was an outstanding piece.

And to all the rest--Your work shone with ability. I enjoyed the reads.

Ahhh senior moment here...Going down the list, I forgot to mention how proud I am of my friend Carol and her EC for her lovely "heartfelt" poem. Carol, I've so enjoyed watching you stretch and grow beautifully in your poetic abilities.

Wow!

Congrats to everyone. I read some really great work this week.

I've always wondered what it feels like to get an EC -- Hmmmm, almost beats eating chocolate! :D

Have a blessed New Year!

Since I don't have access to a personal PC, this is a bit late; but heartfelt, none-the-less.

Congratulations, everyone. I so enjoy reading the different takes the writers can and do take on any given subject. When it seems as if I've hit a wall I read what you've written; and then and only then I nod my head and say, yes, of course.

BTW, I've never considered myself a poet, and no one could be more surprised than myself - thank you for your continued encouragement.

Loren

Definition of Perseverance = Barbara Lynn Culler. Way to go.

And to all the winners...congratulations. Yay for those of us still in Advanced...some of our tougher competition is moving on up to Masters. Seriously, congratulations to the three of you. It's gonna be mighty lonely here in Advanced without you.
