Holy smokes! I thought I completely failed with this entry! I didn't even hint or brick this week because I felt like no one would want to read this particular submission. What an amazing surprise to see the comments about my EC, and then to log in to the forums and see my name listed in the overall top 10! Wow! Thank you judges for seeing what I was trying to convey in this entry. I thought I had missed the boat.

This is my third EC, so I am assuming that I have to move to the dreaded Masters category now?

Congratulations to all of the other writers who are up there with me! You guys rock!

Oh My!!!! :shocked

My gasp was so intense I almost choked on my coffee.

From now on it might be prudent to follow the same formula: wait until 11:30 at night to begin, be so exhausted I have to hold my eyes open with one hand and type with the other; then forget about it since it needed a few more tweaks I didn't have time to make.

Thank you, judges, for "getting" what I was trying to say about our craft (whether or not it was perfectly said).

Congratulations to all who placed. You're the stone on which we hone our skills. Without competition, how would we ever measure our efforts?

Love and Hugz,
Linda G. in Tennessee
