I had to re-evaluate how to be patient and accept that it might take a long time and most wouldn't be wins. The joy should be in the creative outlet. Out of curiosity of who did end up winning I logged on late last night and couldn't believe my eyes! Not only did I place but I got 1st?! 
I honestly don't ever remember being that shocked.
My favorite part was how genuinely proud of me he was that I stuck my neck out and tried something new. That was a great moment for both of us huddled around the laptop. Thanks for that neat memory and the vote of confidence to keep honing my skills!
