Wow, that was really unexpected. I almost didn't submit this one. :)

Congratulations
to everyone who placed, and to those who didn't. It was an amazing week of stories. I was completely swept away many times while reading.

PS - Ruth, Lisa and Sarah - HOORAY! Your stories each touched me deeply.

Wow! A clean sweep of the Masters in the top ten. I don't think I've seen that before (or if so, it's been a long time). Congratulations to all the winners.

Wow. Thanks for all the special shout-outs, I am just shocked by this (may I please borrow a band aid, Bear, for my own little chair flip accident???)

And so I dodged my third EC yet again "PHEW!" Hmmm, I wonder if I get that oh-so-coveted-eleventh spot?

Yay Rachel, Rachel, Lisa, Lisha, Carol!, Kristi.......I better stop before I take over Joanne's job; I could never do it justice!

Thanks to the amazing volunteer judges and all who make FaithWriters what it is

I do feel I owe you guys an apology as well. I haven't been able to do my usual reading and have missed out on some wonderful stories, I know.

I'm having some health issues right now, some kidney problems that have cropped up. They are trying to figure out what is going on (go in for another catscan tomorrow).

But I just wanted to say that I'm sorry I haven't been able to read your wonderful stories. Hopefully, SOON!!!

And I know there are wonderful stories that did not make this list...there always are. It must be very difficult for the judges.

Again, my congratulations to all of my second family here at FW.

Carol ~

So sorry you're going through your health struggle! Please know I'll keep you in my prayers and thoughts. Yes, you are in God's hands -- the very best care you could possibly get!

I hope you don't mind my sharing a passage of scripture with you?

Jeremiah 17:7-8

"But blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD,
whose confidence is in him.
He will be like a tree planted by the water
that sends out its roots by the stream.
It does not fear when heat comes;
its leaves are always green.
It has no worries in a year of drought
and never fails to bear fruit."

Love & hugs, :grouphug

Congrats to the winning writers.

I know I should have offered more money to the judges....

Pup, you are SOOOO funny! I love you, dear friend!!

Katee, you are used by God and didn't even know it. That passage is my writing "motto". I wrote about it in "Leaves Always Green" and that is why my message board name is Green Leaves. Thank you for giving me a gift from God today.

I just feel like God's love is surrounding me today with one gift after another. I can't tell you what my FW family means to me.
