How about that? I'm happy for him...he was pleased, too, but said, "I still only have to write for the Challenge once a month--right?"

(The Challenge is part of his writing class this year.)

I have been down with a bad headache for two days and I just got on here and saw that my article "A New Home" placed 14th in Level 2. That sure did make me feel better. Thanks! And congratulations to everyone!
Have a blessed nights sleep!

Lenda, I'm so glad you got that encouragement today. You have my sympathy (and empathy) for the headache. Hope you're feeling much better now.

Lots of old and new names up there--congrats to all!

And Dub, remember you don't own the corner market on 201st!

Just saying.

On we go!

Congrats to all those who placed in the top 40 this week. Kudos to those who faithfully write week after week and don't necessarily receive the recognition they deserve as well. Lots of good stories.

(To be honest, I was  to see my name anywhere on the list. I still struggle with my stories being too sterile. I have the writing mechanics down but I'm still weak in character development. Sigh.)
