And as I pick myself up off the floor and dance the happiest dance, I offer congratulations to all. For anyone who thinks you'll never make it, keep on keeping on. It took me three years to get that spot that Jan's name occupies so often. And as I see my friends happy with me, I think, "What a blessing Faith Writers is!" I didn't know any of these dear people before.
Thanks to the judges and to all who stopped to be happy with me!

Goes to show Ya, huh? I'm off the site for a few days and WHAMO-right between the eyes! Can't believe it-I log on to check my email and see all these feedback notices. The last time I checked, there was only 1 comment on this entry, which, by the way, I wasn't too hopeful about.

Thank-you, thank-you, judges, for my first 1st place in Advanced and my first EC ever!

What's really funny (not!) is that a couple weeks ago I realized (or was Divinely reminded) that I had started writing for ME-wanting to win, etc.-instead of writing for HIM; so my last couple entries were done to straighten out my priorities. And, I was breathing, eating, sleeping on the website, so I've been tending to neglected business. Yeah, Father, I hear You.......You were right; Thank You, Lord!

Congratulations, Verna, and everyone else! I am so far behind in reading and commenting but will try to catch up.
