Thanks judges and eveyone for your kind comments. I was in Wellington last week, walking through the centre of the city and praying for an idea for my story. It was an icy day so I paused in the doorway of a book store and as I smelled the paper and felt the warmth, the whole story fell into my mind - a true flash of inspiration. I've found this quarter very stretching so am so excited to have a first with this one.
