Great job everyone!

It's great to see new people up in the winner's circle. I loved the variety of perspectives and different angles to the topic.

Congrats to all the winners!

CONGRATS to all the EC and Level winners!!!!!!!! WAY TO GO!!

I was so tired after staying up til the wee hours to rewrite my Australia piece that I accidently erased into oblivion just as I was getting ready to submit it, and I didn't even check the rankings until 11 a.m. here. Was I ever surprised to see my name! It's been such a long time since I've submitted anything, and it was an encouragement to me to keep writing.

I'm going to go read all the winning entries I didn't get to before!

Blessings,
Myrna Joy

glorybee wrote:Gotta give a special shout-out to Sonya Leigh, very new to the Challenge and already making a huge impression, and to Steve Fritchen, tops in Beginners in only his 2nd (I think) entry.

Way to go, new people!
Thanks, Jan. In the interest of full disclosure (there's the lawyer again), in addition to this entry and the other one I've mentioned in your Master Class, I did do 4 others in the Christmas quarter.

It is totally adorable! I must admit, I always look forward to Joanne's whoo hoos...love em'.

Congratulations to all who placed! Thanks so much to the judges...I was so happy to see that I squeaked onto the list today, especially given the date. Even with all the problems we have, history has shown us that "We The People" have the power to change what we don't like about our country. But it tends to come at a price.

I grew up in a non-religious, vaguely Christian home.
However...
I will never forget my father looking up at me one evening from the nightly news and saying, "Michele, you should thank God everyday that you were born in this country."

And I do.
