Highest Ranked Entries for CHILDREN

Post by Deb Porter »

Hi everyone.

The Children's Challenge was a huge stretch for many writers, I know. Some people didn't quite grasp the concept of writing for children, rather than about children, and I think a lot of people discovered that it's not so easy getting in touch with your inner child. Even so, the important thing was that so many of you gave it a go. It wasn't an easy topic (and the Teen/Young Adult one was even harder), but you rose to the Challenge. Well done.

As always, there were a lot of people who came very close to placing, and we want to take some time to acknowledge them as well as the official winners. So it's time for the list of highest ranked entries.

If you find your entry on any of the lists below, either the Top 40 overall, or the Top 15 for your level, then give yourself a pat on the back. You were not that far from the top.

Love, Deb

Congrats!!!

Yay I made the top 40 again :)

I just realized something...of the four genre challenges I participated in, I placed in the top 40 in every one... Apparently my year-long writer's block seemed to help spur the creative juices or something...

I didn't hint or throw a brick because I felt my entry wasn't up to snuff but the judges must have found some redeeming quality in it. Thank you, judges!

Congratulations everyone! :D :D
