So glad - I was a bit worried - I know she doesn't know the secret handshake, and I wasn't sure if she had to be dipped in oil before she could be told "500 secrets."breathfreshair wrote:And yes, Joanne, it was more than all right for you to do that.

Sure - why not, Vile? If your first chapter is gripping enough, it certainly could!

Well, I have a small prologue and then the first chapter. Can I mush those two together? I had a friend of mine who enjoys horror say; "Okay... I've never been scared at the first page before...".
It's one of those books which will have a very big re-readability factor, because the more you piece together the psycho's point of view, the more horrific the book gets.

I just thought of something and it doesn't seem altogether clear.
Does the book have to be finished, I mean completely finished by the deadline, or just the 1st chapter and the synopsis. Could I have a completely rough draft, as in several chapters written and several still in list form, or something of the sort?
Just curious. Oh, I am a 500 member, so I already know the handshake and have healed from the whole oil thingy.

To all things God should get glory, but especially in you.
