Hi!
According to the Facebook FWers page there were 37 entries in total; however, due to the glitches there is an extended deadline, so anything can happen!
Joanne and "Writetrack" did you girls submit an entry? I think I submitted mine with about 8 hours to go
It's been such an eye opener; I never realised how difficult it is to organise ones thoughts when dealing with such a lot of information! As I said to Deb, I was tying my theology up in knots all over the place
Anyway, congratulations to all who have submitted; I applaud your commitment and courage, and encourage you to keep on with the work that God has put within you, regardless of the Page Turner contest results.

Not sure of this, but I suspect the count will be delayed. As per an e-mail from Mike (did you get one?), I think he's relaxing the rules for deadlines due to power outages and hackers that left the Forum offline.

I DID get the email - but after I posted this question LOL. I didn't enter this year, and hopefully, in not too terribly long, we'll get an official count.

With so many personal challenges, I had to push hard to enter the Page Turner this year. If only I'd known about the extension, I probably could have polished the entry up a bit more. Anyway, I'm glad I entered. There's nothing like a perceived deadline to fire you up.

Sorry everyone. The forums seem to have wiped my update posts once it reset.
Our final total of entries for the non-fiction Page Turner was 40.
That's a great result for a non-fiction year.

Yes, wow indeed.
True to form, the vast majority of entries came in the last month (and the big rush happened in the final few days). Happens every year. Ten months to enter, then one last big push.

I had nothing . . . and then an idea which led to . . . zilch!
So I kept on praying . . .
and praying . . .
and praying . . .
AND PRAYING!!
Finally, with about 1 week to go, God gave me something! But that just seems to be the way He works with me; maybe it's so I don't claim the idea/s as my own, letting pride get the better of me!
