Good on you, Di!
And Lynda, you are so right. I knew there'd be a last minute push (or at least was really hoping so when the tally stayed fairly low for most of the year). As Yvonne said, the more the merrier.

Okay...enough is enough. My chances are getting slimmer by the day.
NO MORE entries!
Silliness aside, I think it's GREAT how many have entered! And I hope a bunch more will, yet, before the entries close.
Any guesses as to the final total? I know I have "heard of" at least a a couple more who will probably submit an entry. No doubt there are others I haven't heard about who are still working on entries, as well.
And Deb thought the first year for fiction entries there were around 50, so...
I'll throw out a final tally guess of
42!
Anyone else?

I'll be SUPER conservative and guess 39.
(and mine will NOT be one of them. BUT - by the time the winner is known, my runner-up from last year WILL be ready for its professional edit!)

Okay. Call me a brainiac. Or maniac. I don't know. But my Page Turner entry is in....unbelieveable!!!! So, I know it's really no competition to the masterpieces of the others, but it's my little participation in something pretty cool
Also, when I submitted it took me to a page saying my entry had been recieved...so I guess it's all good, right?
Love you guys. Going to bed, dreaming of my current writing projects: NaNo, the Weekly Challenge...and Page Turner

Oh, my goodness!!!
I'm glad I hit that "send" button before I read these posts!!! Otherwise, I do believe I might have chickened out!!
I am among THE elite
and my nerves are twanging, body's all a-tremble, and my head feels like it must belong to someone else!
Oh well, what's done is done; I just hope I can re-learn to breathe before I topple over in a dead faint.
I can't imagine any of you pros feel quite this way -- doesn't experience doing this make a huge difference in how you feel after you enter one of these? Or do you all feel pregnant, like I do?
Ack, ack, ack!!!!
Love & blessings on you all~
Kate
It must be quite obvious I'm a Newbie....
