:D I JUST PUSHED THE BUTTON :D

Hi. I'm new to writing and somewhat new to FaithWriters. Like everyone else, I'm sure, I've been polishing this work so much I'm surprised there's anything left.

I do want to thank Deb for the "grace" on the word limit for the synopsis. It's still two pages, but it allowed my to include some critical components to the overall picture.

I have other projects to work on so at least I won't be sitting around biting my nails.

The ACFW Genesis contest is a contest for unpublished authors. You must be a member of American Christian Fiction Writers in order to enter. They also hold the Book of the Year contest for published authors. You can visit www.acfw.com for more information on that. You'll find some information about ACFW on my Examiner page, as well.

thanks

What's the most entries you've had for the Page Turner contest?

Yvonne, we've only had one fiction and one non-fiction year so far, and you're really testing my memory with that question.

I think the first year (the fiction one) we had about 50 entries. There were around 30 for the non-fiction last year (or thereabouts). Like I said, I'm really having to stretch the old memory, but it was around that. I'm delighted to see the last minute rush with entries for this year.

THAT'S GREAT !

THE MORE THE MERRIER

:grouphug

(of course, that means our chances of winning are getting smaller,
but that's okay--it will mean more)

Well, my nails are dangerously short from nibbling nervously, but I DID IT!

Send / Submit, whatever the little button said. (It was almost anti-climactic afterwards, no choir singing or fireworks from my PC, just a nice, little thank you from FW... sigh, I always did lean towards the dramatic)

Cheers to all of us! Whew, now for a venti latte to celebrate.

Doesn't surprise me that people are getting in at the last minute. Look at the Challenge every week and how many entries come in at the 11th hour. LoL

Even with 10 whole months to enter, we're still squeaking in at the last minute. Except for me, of course. I got mine in a couple weeks ago (not to brag or anything    )
