I'm glad I hit that "send" button before I read these posts!!! Otherwise, I do believe I might have chickened out!!

I am among THE elite :bow and my nerves are twanging, body's all a-tremble, and my head feels like it must belong to someone else!

Oh well, what's done is done; I just hope I can re-learn to breathe before I topple over in a dead faint.

I can't imagine any of you pros feel quite this way -- doesn't experience doing this make a huge difference in how you feel after you enter one of these? Or do you all feel pregnant, like I do?

Ack, ack, ack!!!! :cry2

Love & blessings on you all~
Kate

It must be quite obvious I'm a Newbie....
I felt the same way when mine went in a couple weeks ago. It's amazing how much adrenaline shoots through your system when you click that submit button.

Cool! I WON!!!

Um, for having the closest guess to the final tally, that is.

Of course there were only three "entries" for that contest. And no prizes. Oh, and I started it.

But still...

Seriously, that's a great total! Way to go everybody! :D

You know, the one they forget to read until after the judging is over and find it in a lost but not yet deleted file....

Now, watch...the three who are making all this noise about how far down they will place will probably take the winner and runners-up placements!

I'll take that bet. I never win anything. And if I did it would be out of pity on the judges part.

Oh my goodness! Here we are to almost knowing who wins and I totally forgot to post that I was in... and I squeaked in at the last minute!

I was waiting on another contest for today and obviously didn't win... it was a fiction contest for Family Circle magazine. I'm sure there were a lot more entries for that, than for this contest.

I wish everyone the best!

God bless,
Pamela
