2009 Page Turner Entry Tally

Post by Deb Porter »

Last year everyone was interested to know how many entries there were in the Page Turner, so this year I thought we'd keep count. I'm praying for loads of entries this year. We had over 50 the first year, and over 30 last year. For fiction again this year, I'm expecting a big field of entries.

Anyway, here's the official current Page Turner Entry count:

1 entry (as at 26th January, 2009)

If there's one thing I've learned from being a Challenge judge, it's that a ton of people wait until the 11th hour to submit.

Sorry, Pup. I think by the time the deadline rolls around, Deb will have quite a stack of entries.

Yep ... it's still only six, but the number will grow in the final months (Lynda speaks truth!) :D

I'm about a chapter and a half away from finishing Raggedyman, so I'll be working on Leper next.

I'm hoping to have my entry pulled together later this year.

I'm debating on which two to enter...a women's fiction or a chick lit mystery. Hmmmm....

We can enter 2?

I don't think so. I'm just debating which ONE to enter. Not sure yet. I've entered both in the ACFW Genesis contest. Maybe I'll wait to see if one makes it through the first round and go from there. :)

Don't think I'll be entering this year after all. My non-fiction is taking up lots of my time, and I'm doubting I'll get anywhere near ready to research, much less write, the first chapter before Fall at the earliest. Maybe in a couple years :D

Rooting for the rest of ya, though!
