By the way, are you getting all your FW newsletters (and 500 ones)?
Newsletters?????? I don't think so. Unless I'm not looking in the right place for them.

Ahhh ... that would explain a lot.

I would imagine they are all being blocked by either your email provider, or your own anti-spam programme.

You get email from my FaithWriters address without any problem, so it must be the newsletters being blocked.

We do have an archive of them, though.

General Newsletter

FaithWriters 500 Newsletter

You've got some catching up to do.

Deb - I don't get them either - by email, anyway. Is there a place I can try to sign up again? Popped about but couldn't find anything.

I don't actually receive them, either. I wonder how many members don't receive them and what we can do to make them more prominent on the site.

Any ideas?

It does take over a month for all the newsletters to go out, but I know that some spam guards do block them before they get to your inbox. With Yahoo, they don't always even get as far as the spam box.

When you logon to your FaithWriters' account, there is a pop-up window that comes down to make sure your newsletter details are correct. Have your filled that in again?

I pretty much gave up on email newsletters about four years ago. The amount of bounces was showing that it was rapidly becoming a very ineffective way of communicating with large groups. (Thanks spammers!)

Today, RSS feeds tend to be far more effective. The responsibility to subscribe rests completely with the subscriber. No one can be signed up to anything; it's all up to them.

Things like Twitter and Facebook have that similar sort of thing where people can get instant communication via that.

Anyway, try re-entering your email address and see if it gets any better.

I haven't had a newsletter for months, either, and have filled the form in twice...I'd better go and check out the archives!

I hate email.

Actually, it was when Lynda said she didn't know about the Page Turner contest that I realized we have a major communication breakdown (thanks to email). That's why I got out the old paddles and zapped the FaithWriters' Heartbeat back into life.

Time to think of new ways to communicate.

I get mine, but then too I have the FW Email, and notices aren't blocked, could have something to do with it.

Back to the subject of the Roll Call, how many are in so far?
