Should mention here too, if you are a 500 member, you need to log in to your FaithWriters account before being able to access the 500 member information for the Page Turner.

Also, with the general information page (for all members) here:

http://www.faithwriters.com/page-turner.php

There are a couple of links at the bottom:
If you are already a 500 member, you can find out more about this year's Page Turner contest HERE http://www.faithwriters.com/myaccount/F ... turner.php

You can learn more about becoming a FaithWriters 500 member HERE http://www.faithwriters.com/myaccount/d ... embers.php

The 2008 Page Turner Winners were announced on the 1st December, and you can view the winners HERE. http://www.faithwriters.com/page-turner-archives.php
500 members need to use the first link, but again, will need to sign in to their FW account first.

Maybe this will be the push I need to finally finish the novel I started almost 13 years ago!

I have a question... I had someone pay for my 500 membership and I don't know when that expires. Do I need to be a member (I'm assuming I do) at the time of judging too, or just when I enter my submission? At this point in time I'm not sure I can afford to join up again when my membership expires.

Thanks!
Pamela

Hi Pamela. Yes, you do need to be a 500 member at the time of judging as well. Work on your novel, though, and let's see how things go for you financially when the time comes to submit.

Ok... To use the editing I would have to have the book finished by the end of December 2010, right?

Hummm wonder if I could actually get that done. With the stress of life now and still needing 5 chapters..... hummmmm.

You can do it, Pup. :D

Yes, the winner this year will have until December 2010 to get their editing underway, but that just means they have to get it in to me by December 2010. If a chapter or two aren't complete, they can work on it while the editing is underway. Better to have the whole thing finished first, and then re-work it, but if it was getting close to the deadline, I'm sure we could work around it in some way.

Well I could enter then, and take the year to finish out the last of the chapters.

Now to come up with a synopsis that would show every thing yet not hold too much detail to make it boring.

Should be fine, Pup. Once you do submit it, let me know, and I'll check to make sure the file is okay.

You'd better believe it's too late (insert evil laughter).

Oh GOODY GOODY! I had a difficult time with the non-fiction last year but hope to blow the judges socks off with my fiction entry...it may take me until October to feel comfortable with submitting it, but I absolutely love this story!
