FaithWriters 2013 Conference is planned!

If I plan on staying a few days extra, will someone take me to see the ocean for the very first time??

Allison, would that be a case of "long time no sea?" I'd appreciate your reply, as I haven't a nocean.

Any idea when registration will be open for the Oregon summer conference? I don't want to purchase my plane tickets until I'm registered, and airfare is pretty decent right now...

I'm not sure what the hold-up is. Trying to figure that out. It should be open soon. But the conference and time and location are a 100% for sure go, so I'd say go ahead and book the airfare.

Would love to come and so meet all you people, but alas, it's too far, unless there are any free tickets to be won (air tickets I mean! From Australia!). Have you thought of such a competition?

All the paperwork for the conference has been finalised and sent through to FaithWriters to be uploaded and prepared for the conference page. Barring any unexpected difficulties doing that, registration should be open within the next few days.

Wow, never thought the FW conference would be so near to by backyard. I even lived in Portland for a number of years. It is a beautiful city. The Columbia River Gorge - one of the wonders of the world. Once you see it, you'll never be able to forget it. Follow it down streams and it empties into the Pacific Ocean near Astoria and Cannon Beach (a wonderful art community). Don't know what my calendar looks like, but maybe I can take the train down from Seattle. We'll see.

I really really really really want to register right now. However, I have to wait and see when my great-niece arrives and if we can afford the plane ticket for me and a road trip to Memphis very close together.

Oh, Loren! I hope you can make it to the FW conference, too! It would be so nice to see you again! Robert and I are going to drive down on Friday morning and go home on Sunday afternoon. My sister lives in Beaverton, so Robert is going to spend Saturday with her and her husband.
