Proofreading Before Publishing

A cyber-friend (whom I've only know since June) just sent me a book he had published back in 1991. It was published by Fairway Press. They marketed it for a year and then sent him the extras. I saw an editing oversight right at the very beginning:

"My late brother, Donald, whose short like exemplified the achievement of a superstar despite his handicap." I felt so bad for Larry when I saw that. He is so proud of this book.

Larry's brother succumbed to the effects of Polio at the age of 25.

I try to run everything by everybody in the household and in my immediate circle of family and friends before I put out anything.
