So, what happens when we hit 500? Is membership closed? Do we have a big party? Set a new goal and change the name to the FaithWriters 600?

I know membership isn't closed - according to Deb, 500 is basically the number the site needs just to break even. I say a party is a GREAT idea, though!! Just have to wait for a few more folks!!

I was just curious if anyone knows what happens once your year of membership is up. Do you receive an email giving you the opportunity to sign up for another year or is it just automatically renewed and charged to your credit card until you decide to cancel?

Since I initially signed up with Paypal, when the year was up, they automatically renewed my membership. I got a notice but not until after the fact. I wasn't paying attention to when it was due and the $120 came as kind of a shock. I do wish a notice would go out a week or so before to give you options - not only whether or not to renew (which everyone should do!!! :wink:

) but also how you want to pay for it.

Maybe it's changed but that's what happened when my membership came up for renewal in June. You might want to email Scott and ask him to make sure.

I also pay mine monthly, because even if I forget, the $10 is not enough to cause a problem. The $120, on the other hand, would be quite a blow if I had forgotten about it.

And how do we know for sure when our renewal date is? I know mine is in December, but I don't remember the actual date. I've got to be sure there's money in the bank. :shock:

It would probably just be best to email Scott to find out. I'm not sure how else you can check.
