Josh's Baptism :)

Postby RedBaron » Sun Aug 24, 2014 11:15 pm

Josh and the pastor's two youngest kids (out of 5) got baptized tonight at church. He'd accepted Jesus as his Savior when he was either 5 or 6 (I lost the info on the date :( ) He went through a class with them for a few weeks over the summer to make sure they understood what it was about, why, etc. and then they sat down and talked with some of the men from the church (Frank's the only active deacon right now, so it was a couple retired ones as well lol).

I only videoed Josh's part on my camera, as video tends to eat batteries fast and I didn't know how strong they were, since Eileen used it at camp a few weeks ago. My dad videoed the whole thing, as did the pastor's wife. ... 9894846884

Thanks for sharing that milestone moment. May this be the beginning of a lifetime that's lived wholly for the Lord. :D

:) That's so cool. I love baptisms, and especially kids' baptisms.

That's awesome Shari. I'm learning so much about the sacraments and different things since Q started semi are. He calls once a week or so and we talk about many different things. Tonight we were talking about baptism and communion and how cool little kids are because they get it in a way that blows my mind. Happy Dance for Josh and his awesome parents. :D
