Oh m'gosh! You, too, Leah? I think it's the nurse mentality in us. Your post reminded me of another of my quirkies. The grocery cart doesn't move until I swipe the handle AND the top seat where kids usually sit. I push elevator buttons with my knuckle. And should I have to use a public bathroom, I use a paper towel to open doorknobs, especially after I've washed my hands.

I agree with Col; mega quirky.

Of course, a lot of it is good hygiene and that's fine. But the ladies take the prize, I surrender.

Does that mean that ladies are more dotty than men?

Another quirk I have is when I'm on a bus or walking, I look both ways when crossing the tracks. Even if the tracks are rarely used. I'm sure my fellow bus passengers must think I'm odd looking this way and that when we cross the tracks leading to a rail yard.

Just asked hubby if I had any, and he told me about another one (that I knew was a habit, but not that it was quirky LOL). When I get excited, I rub my hands together vigorously.

I just noticed another quirky habit in my friend Col; one he has not admitted but has just proven to be true:

He loves to flirt with danger.

Blessings, Graham.

I didn't mean it really, I think the ladies in here are super duper - hows that for grovelling?

By the way I've been for an evening meal at my best friend's home tonight and both he and his wife said they had been saying that my tum was shrinking - so the not getting on the scales is working a treat. :D

I do that too, Joanne! Except it started when I was working at Knott's Berry Farm, or as I prefer to call it, Nazi Fairy Farm. I started rubbing my hands together whenever I got really upset at idiotic co-workers and leads, as well as stubborn guests who didn't think rules applied to them. It was either do that or start choking people en masse! Seriously!
