Boy, I have REALLY missed Faithwriters, and the forums! But I have only a minute to spare at the moment. Just wanted to say "hi" and let everyone know what was up.
Life just hasn't slowed down enough for me to write recently. That's been discouraging to say the least, but it's just the way life is. I'm homeschooling our second son who battles with Aspergers and some general anxiety. This year, however, he is taking one class at the high school (English) so I have one less class to plan for. That would sound like I would have MORE time to write instead of less, correct? However, since he is attending the high school, I have been asked to do his homeschool classes on a block schedule, which means what would normally take us a full year to complete, we need to complete this first semester. It's been a serious time crunch for me, since I must plan out a lot of handouts and worksheets for him to understand the material. All the extra work for his schooling means less time to write.
On top of that, our older son has had a serious turn in his education plans. We're trying to work with him on that, and I know he will eventually get his life situation settled. But for now, things are a little intense.
So for the duration, I have to stay focused on our two sons, which means my desire to write takes a back seat. I will be back, though, as soon as I can. Just know that while I am gone, I will keep my membership active to support this great organization, and I do miss you all a great deal.
Many blessings to all of you! Keep writing!
