It doesn't go away my sweet Pup, but Jesus is willing to carry it during the hard times. I've been thinking of you this week.

Dear Jesus, wrap your loving arms around your good and faithful servant. Let him feel your love like he never has before. Give him the strength to make it through this time. Help convince him that he can remember the good times and does not need to blame himself for any real or imagined sin. You love him so much that this has been settled over 2000 years ago. Thank you for friends who get us, for kids like The Slug and her sister who open our eyes in new ways and thank you even for grieving hearts for without them we would never experienced the wonderful love that we so miss when it's gone. Guide him through this year. Let something be different and open his eyes to your plan. Amen

Amen.

Nice to see you out. Becky. The 4th is always hard for me because Mom used to have a big party at the lake. This is the first year I didn't feel super depressed. On Friday, I spent the afternoon with Payton. I told her my bear story and she watched me so intently and furrowed her brows at the sad part and gave me tons of smiles. I do believe she even chuckled. It was the best day I had in a long time. My mom lost her first baby months before his 3rd birthday and I remember her telling me after M was born that it was the first day in 23 years that she didn't think of Donnie, but she didn't feel bad either. It's been 22 years for me and I didn't miss her because of the 4th. I missed her because she didn't get to see Payton, but then who knows what she sees.

Thanks Kiddo.

I survived another year, not for lack of trying on my part.

Applications in for a couple new jobs, but at this point not to hopeful. I had heard of one job and a friend was going to give me a ride to place the app but never had the time when it came to it. SO, I walked in, near 25 miles, to place it myself, but when I got there I found out they only do applications online through a service... one I am already signed up on, with no replies yet in near 6 months.....

Walking back home, 5 miles to go, my "Friend" drove passed. Just as I reach the edge of town they call me to see if it was me they passed. They had just come from the town I had walked to. They had left about half an hour before I did, driving to the same town I had walked to.

Friends... sometimes I just have to wonder. Is any of it actually worth it.

Wow. I can't imagine walking 25 miles each way. It'd take me about a month or more.

I come out of hiding, also Q

Hugs for our Puppy! (I don't think I heard his story, no problem)

It's been a busy month and a half with dr apmts and what not. I got a new nurse last week to replace my regular nurse. Today I was informed I have diabetes but I don't feel any different. We'll discuss options next week with the dr. You know what I'm ok with this; God is in control!

Jay, I'm so sorry to hear about the diabetes, but love your attitude! I need to adopt some of that.

I have no appropriate comeback. I'm very disappointed in myself. I blame it on the fact that I was bombarded by bugs. They must have sucked out all of my wit.

Like many of the old regulars, Holly tends to be gone for months, if not years, then will pop back in for a couple of weeks before disappearing again. It's been a while since you've popped in too. Laurie. It's nice to see you.

Jay, how are you holding up? Are things calming down.

I miss you too Becky. I'll have to text you.

I get to see or talk to some people via text or by playing games on FB. It's nice to have that connection. Amy had to euthanize her kitty last week. I know it has been hard on her. We try to chat every day. I play Word with Sema and we chat some too. If any of you want to start a game with me... I'm game
