Ah, ha, ha, ha, ha Becky got Pup! Becky got Pup! Turns out they just installed free Wi-Fi like two weeks ago. I'm glad because it allows me to keep in touch with all of you, but feel like I should be working on my editing. I have a hard time balancing things for sure. I did walk down to the beach last night though. They also have a life-size chess board so I'm hoping I can convince someone to play. It's been a while so I'm not sure if I remember all the rules.

There were some horrible storms and flooding and it took us about 5 extra hours to get here. It's been nice chilling with Q and Lyd. I'm still exhausted. There is a hammock right across the way so I'm looking forward to sitting out there.

Good thing there's Wi-Fi though because not only do I not like coffee, but tea and hot chocolate are gross too.

What happened to Toni? I haven't seen her around nor do I think she entered challenge the last couple of weeks. I miss everyone who hasn't popped in regularly except Amy because I text her every day. I play Word with Jay and Seems but missing seeing them around. I wonder how Rich is doing too.

Toni is taking this quarter off from the challenge to write her book. She inspires me! I've started a writing course, so I won't be entering the challenge as often.

Well let her know I miss her and she should pop in some time for a quick hello . I'm excited she is working on book and I remember hearing it.

Rachel how is your book coming? I can't wait to read more.

Pup, weren't you supposed to send me the rest of your poems too?

The beach is nice. I've only been outside once (the day we got here) but the whirlpool in master bath is awesome.

My books are still in rough draft. I want to finish the writing courses at the Christian Writers Guild before I rewrite so my books can be the best that I can do. In the meantime I'll be writing more books (rough drafts.) I plan on being finished a rewrite and ready to look for a publisher in three years. It's kind of long range, but this isn't something I want to rush.

Enjoy that beach, Shann! (And the whirlpool tub too.) :D

I did? Hmm was I awake?

Q said I came out last night while he was watching Back to the Future and we even talked about the movie. I think he was messing with me. I have no recollection of it and was surprised he had those movies when I saw them on the table.

We finally got satellite TV back! And best of all, DirecTV has apparently seen the error of their ways and has brought back the Weather Channel! :superhappy

It's cooling down here, but will warm up later this week. I grabbed a jacket on my way out the door this morning.

My roommate C.J. has been spending the mornings doing yard work, and it looks great out back! I wish I had a digital camera so I could take pictures and show you!

Started Track 4 in our church's Sound Track series. So far, so good. After first service yesterday, I went up for prayer because of "the crud" going through the house; as the prayer team prayed for my roommates' health and healing, they started praying over me, asking the Lord to bring to pass all the things I've been wanting, and told me that good things were coming my way. Can't wait to see what!

I play chess, Shann, but I don't think you want to play me.
I talk to Rich several times a week.

Why don't I want to play chess with you Jay? Are you like a Master? I'm glad you're keeping in touch with Rich.

Happy birthday Alison :birthday :party :party

So we were exploring a Fort when we got a phone call and Q is being sued for an accident he was in over 3 years ago. The person filed it literally on the last day of the statue of limitations. He was going 5 to 10 my and the passenger is now suing the driver of the other car, the owner of car and Q. I'm surprised we weren't named too because the car was in our name.

Other than that... We are having nice time. I bet I walked like 10 miles today so I checked my pedometer and it said 40 steps. Um I don't think it is working. We went to Aquarium and I took tons of cool pics and once I figure out how to get the pics off camera and onto computer and onto site. I might share them

Thank you, Shann! My birthday is actually tomorrow, May 20th. But it's already May 20th in Australia, so Deb posted "early." :D
