Yes, JP, that was my Thursday night last week. :?

I am so tired. And I can't wait to get off day shift. But they said today maybe I need another week next week just because they have more going on during the day and I need more practice. I know what I'm doing but I just need to get used to the flow there and the charting. It's wonderful delivering babies again, I have to say. Even if I'm tired.

Hope y'all are doing well. At least I can keep up with the posts; you're not overly chatty.

I miss working in OB Leah. Even if I were to ever get healthy again so much has changed that I don't think I'd ever be able to work as a nurse again. I did apply for a part time library aide job. I wanted it so bad. It was only 5-10 hours a week so I was hoping I might stand a chance at least an interview but no luck. I need to take my dogs up to the free rabies CLINIC IN THE NEXT TOWN OVER BUT MY ANXIETY IS not allowing me to do that. how am I ever going to make through Lyd's graduation and party if jumping in the car and driving 10 minutes makes me want to puke? :brrr (pretend he is shivering from fright instead of cold)

I did it Poor Phin hates going in the car because he gets carsick so we both were shaking but we are home now safe and sound and neither one of us puked. Though i did cry a bit on the way home cuz I was listening to Carrie Underwood's Mama Song and that made me weepy but other than that we now are safe from any rabid animals well at least the 4 legged ones of the family are for another 3 years :D

Had a little quake this evening. :o The strange thing was that we were talking about earthquakes minutes before it happened.

Cue The Twilight Zone theme.

That's kind of like how my friend was talking about selling her car and getting a newer, better and safer one minutes before the car accident that totaled it.

Spooky.

Well here I am, days off, and I am already getting leg cramps. ( having to stand while typing it is so bad) I guess a bike ride is out. I would normally take a hot soak in the tub, but this new place only has a shower... and a small one on top of it all... not even enough room to bend over and scrub me toes. :? Oh well at least the water is hot. But I sure do miss me big claw foot tub.

Oh and Shann... the word is Midget.. like the "Little" car.

No Pup I'm positive midget is politically incorrect and quite offensive. (I watched Little People Big World) Besides it wasn't the pc term for Little People that I was trying to think of it was for average sized people. I know normal is offensive because it implies Little People are abnormal. In my opinion the words shouldn't matter at all but your meaning behind the word is what matters. Stupid can be quite offensive if you say it right or it could just be the truth like blowing drying your hair while in the tub is stupid. But since you don't have a tub you don't have to worry about that. I am super sorry about the pain in your legs. That's a horrible feeling. Probably everyone asks you this but do you think your potassium level might be low. I know mine tends to run dangerously low at times and the cramps are fierce when it does.

Seema that is spooky about the earthquake. I wonder if you could sense it and you don't realize. The same thing with Becky and the car accident. I think there are tons of things that some part of our brain can pick up on that we aren't aware of. Amy and I have a spooky way of texting each other at the same TIME.

I went out and pulled some weeds today so I can get5 the ground ready to plant my seeds and what not. The weather has been so weird here that it has been hard. It was way warm in Feb and March then the freak snow in April and May. Last couple of nights it's dipped down in the low 40s but on Sunday it was 90.

Lyd's graduation party is Sunday. I hope it's nice for it. I can't believe my youngest is graduating.

People haven't been around much lately. I haven't heard from Barb since before her niece was going to have her baby. I hope everything turned out okay. Holly hasn't been around either and I think Ivy has totally forgotten us. SIGH Changes :?

Yes... Normal is a bad word, and I find it rather offencive. Specially when referring to me... about anything. Average is about as good as I can handle, even though MOST are above my average.. height, looks intelligence So that would put me... well below average.

Or were you talking about Tall people.. they are vertically challenged.... or inhanced, depending on how you look at them.

Oh well, such is life, and I am doomed to never get any better. And no Little Bird that was not a comment about your story.

It is coin toss time. Torture myself or not. Hummmmm... too nice a day to stay inside, and I don't feel like walking.

I wasn't able to type well for a couple days either and whenever I'd hit the "O" it wouldn't come up and I'd have to hit it a bunch more.

That happened to me, too - right when I was planning to pay off my old car in two months, I had my accident and totalled it.

I am sleeping better the last two nights but that's because I didn't work either day. Back to the grind tomorrow morning and I'll find out if I work days or nights next week.

I was Mrs. Homemaker the last two days, too. Got the laundry done, washed the sheets, did the recycle, balanced the budget, made veggie burgers last night and carrot cake today (and spicy Thai for lunch which we just finished) although I still need to make frosting. If I feel extra ambitious I may make either breakfast cookies or chocolate chip cookies. The best thing about vegan baking is you can lick the pan without fear of food poisoning. My mom never let me lick the pan for cookies or cake or brownies because of the raw eggs.

It's a sunny day in SoCal, as usual. I missed the earthquake last night - we were too far south and west to feel it. :?

We may go see The Avengers at the theatre down the street which has $4 movie day Tuesdays & Thursdays.

Well the day we got in our accident her car was just payed off and she just got it out of the shop and had a bunch of work done on it for like 2 or 3 weeks. It was like the same day she got it out and BOOM, accident.
