Becky, hopefully the little darlings will be especially good on Tuesday. Maybe some special activities can be arranged to occupy them? Praying Jesus' presence into the situation in gentleness, love, and grace.

Pup, 3 hours you must be prunish. I'll bet Shelley is bummed to have missed the connection with you. Hoping sleep surprised you by now.

That East Coast weather sounds horrific. We are having wild winds here over the last 24 hours. No damage that I am aware of at the moment. Lots of snow yesterday after lots of melting before that, go figure?

Jay, keep going with your catering research, praying for inspiration. Don't we all need some of that?

Amy, shoulder report? Shann, I love how faithful you are in reading and commenting on the Challenge.Holly, I hope your week hasn't overwhelmed you. Kara are in 'Encouragement?'
Blessings, Kathleen

Jay, sometimes snags can actually turn into cool things for our books. When I hit a snag in my foster care research for Reaching Sky I decided to let my character have the same misconception I had and then let him finding out the truth be a pivotal point in my book. Hope you can find a way to work with your snag.

Becky, eek, sounds like a long week. Too bad the one worker doesn't get to go to her BIL's funeral. I always did wonder why people don't have funerals on the weekend.... They could go ahead and have the graveside service and wait to have the bigger one until the weekend. Praying that your pain and energy holds up.

Pup, I even texted Shelley for you to let her know you'd be there and to check this site but didn't hear back. Maybe she doesn't have texting anymore. I think she's still posting on her blog and JoE, so I think she's okay. Seems like there was some family stuff going on, though.... Hope you get some rest.

Kate, are you feeling any better yet? Hope so. My shoulder is bothering me a little more again tonight, but still doing much better than before. Thanks for asking.

So I've exchanged quite a few emails with the new owner, Mike, today and I'm encouraged. He said they were still dedicated to keeping the family feel of the site and he seems really great. Maybe he'll pop in here to say hi.

Wednesday I did get a few revisions done on my novel but worked on Thurs and didn't do much of anything except emailing and resting done today. Maybe tomorrow I can write. Our state has a caucus in the morning that I should go to but I still can't figure out who to vote for and I really don't want to be somewhere by 9:30 on a Saturday morning (or any morning, really). I'm still mad that "Queen Chris" did away with our primary election.

So I know I am late on the ABC family show topic but I started the topic so I can continue it whenever I feel like it. Your right, ABC family isn't as family as it used to be or should be. However now adays it is as family as most familys are. Either their life it like that or they don't care to have stricter guidelines for what their kids watch, plus most of these show come on around the time the kids that really should be watching it are going to be or should or will be going to bed soon. And also the shows are much more wholesome then the likes of other 8pm and 9pm shows like Gossip Girl, The Vampire Diaries and One Tree Hill.

I like all the ABC family shows but Jane by Design. I couldn't get into the first episode and haven't watched it since, though the clips for the new episodes lately have looked real good. And Bay can be annyoing, but that is kind of the point and if you watched the show you would be able to see her grow and mature from the whole switched at birth and how it is changing her. For those that watch, do you like Bay with Emmet or do you want Daphne with Emmet? I love Bay and Emmet together, but a part of me think Daphne and Emmet make more sense. And Pretty Little Lairs. I read all the spoilers for the books and they "find out" who A is like four times in the like what six book series before you TRULY find out that A is Ali's crazy Twin sister that broke out of a mental hospital and killed her. There is like one more episode before they "reveal" A I am not sure that it will be the true A...because I don't remember the other fake A's and I don't how closely they are following the books. Just like with The Lying Game, because in the first book Sutton is killed and Emma is trying to solve her murder while pretending to be her. And so far in the first season she has yet to die.

If I remember the research I did on the Pretty Little Liars in the books "A" was a bunch of different people too like I think that "A" was Ian, I think even Mona was A at one point and so was Lucas and then they thought A was Aly's twin sister but it turned out A was really Aly because Aly had murdered her twin. (something like that)

oh and for the short time I watched Switched at Birth I liked Bay and Emmett together. The other two just seem weird to me. Like they seemed to brother and sister like for them to make sense together.

I like Daphne and Emmet together because they get each other's language and culture, but I can see your point about them being almost like brother and sister. And Bay is cute with him, too. I really like Emmet's character, from what I've seen of it. He's way more mature than the other characters and is sweet.

I still haven't been doing much of anything except sleeping. I'm getting kinda bummed at myself for not working on my writing stuff, but I'm wondering if I have a bit of a bug or something. Not feeling real well and seems like my fatigue is worse than normal even. I have these weird blisters all over my fingers, too....

Does sound like something systemic going on with you. Don't be bummed with yourself. Treat yourself as you do others, I know golden backwards. :book2 :bow

Well Pup if you prefer, I can tell you the details of what my dog did in the hall and how unhappy I was when I stepped in a pile of warm goo and felt gunk seep between my toes and squish in my bare feet? :sorry :D

I laughed when I heard this in A Tale of Two Cities “It [La Guillotine] was the popular theme for jests; it was the best cure for headache, it infallibly prevented the hair from turning grey, it imparted a peculiar delicacy to the complexion, it was the National Razor which shaved close...."

Oh some of ewes talking about teen soaps again.

It was originally created as a humane death. It's much faster than hanging or most of the other methods of capitol punishment. I'd forgotten that it was used in comedy so much. :P

I invited my friend Traci to come join us. She's a writer from my church and I finally talked her into joining FW. :D I told her to check out this thread but teen soaps (are they really? I never thought of Switched at Birth as a teen soap) and doggy bombs might scare her away!

I'm still kinda feeling sick and slept most of the day, but now trying to work on my PeP story. It's full of telling, though, and it's proving a little hard to fix.

To Sparrow Bird Amy's friend Traci, if she stops by...(and before she gets scared off) Hi. :D And.. don't be too afraid, we aren't always goofy. Well not ALL the time. There were a few minutes last year that were almost normal for most people. :D

And Bird, you will get it sooner or later. At least your "later" isn't as bad as mine is... I still haven't quite finished my re-writes of your edit. I was down to the smiles and laughs, and boy was that hard, keeping meself in mind that us Christians shouldn't laugh so much.

:heehee

An Shann.... feet can be washed. Now, if you were in stockings and start trailing it down the hall with out noticing, That would be a mess. :tongue
