Something similar happened out here last week. Maybe those survilists aren't quite so crazy after all.

Well at least they can't blame it on aliens, there was no activity on there part this passed week. Then too, maybe that WAS their activity.

Those aliens are a tricky bunch.

Re: Pacific Coast Rest-Stop
Cleaning my house the other day... I came across another VERY old story I wrote, way back when, and I am thinking of re-writing it to the computer, then editing. (yes it is still in hand written notebook form) It was a total fantasy book I wrote back when I was 14.
It started with a few short stories then the main story. (several chapters). Maybe I can re-do the short stories around the main one. They were mainly short quips telling something of the characters in the story, sort of background info... so to speak. And one story, the first one, is mainly like history of the main group and how they came about.
When... or if... I get it all typed out I was going to see about getting it proof read by some one. But who? Shari does fantasy now and then, and I DO value Red's opinion.... most of the time.
I know Shann will say she would love to, but most times she get herself so backed up it's not funny.
Chances are it will take some time, and even then I may not get it finished for some time, but, the idea is there, waiting to be completed, I just haven't done any thing with it. But, I still have the whole story written down, if it hasn't faded too much to make out the words.
I guess I can take it with me to the coffee shop and read through it, see if I still want to do it, or give it to someone else, or just throw it in the trash as a waste if childhood time.
Hummmm, coffee sound good though, I will do that first.

You're right I do get too much on my plate and I'm so sorry. But, if you want to rewrite it, I promise to read it and then let you know if I have time to edit. But Shari is always looking for jobs so I understand if you ask her. I just finished a 385 page MS (had to go thru it 4 or 5 times and took several months), but now that that is mainly done, I only have a 31- devotional book and a 12 page essay, so if you do it fast, I might have time!

I think you and I, Pup, are the last survivors. Oh I miss when there were 20 posts a day.

Re: Pacific Coast Rest-Stop
20 posts per day was a little hard to keep up with ... but bes, it was nice to see so much from so many people. If you want, I can post 15 or 20 random posts about absolutely nothing

And if you say yes I cannot be held responsible for the things my ADHD fueled brain may do

Re: Pacific Coast Rest-Stop
Glad to see you pop in Tiff. So many of the regulars are gone! Hey you should offer to proof Pup's fantasy since he doesn't want me to do it.
Actually he is still waiting for me to publish the poetry book he gave me. Poetry isn't my genre but fantasy is a bit more up my alley. Harry Potter is like my favorite book ever. Any wizards in your fantasy Pup?

Re: Pacific Coast Rest-Stop
*waves* I'm still here. I just tend to be quiet unless I'm specifically addressed, or there's something specific/unqiued I want to comment on and someone else hasn't already said it. lol Maybe I should try to change that.

I'm still here! I'm living in a motel with no wi-fi, so I have to go to the library a couple times a week to keep up.
