Hi Lisa! Welcome to FW! I'm so glad you have jumped right into the challenges and now are checking out the boards. This is an incredible site filled with amazing people who genuinely want to help others be the best writer possible and all this plus some wonderful Christian fellowship. This is like a family to me and has given me more than I could have dreamed of when I first joined three years ago.
I hope you will browse the different threads. The Open Forum is the best place to check out writing related things. The Water Cooler has some threads that are area based, though you really don't need to be from the Pacific Coast or the South to pop in. There are also threads about things that people might discuss around the office water cooler. There is also the prayer forum and a whole section dedicated to the challenge.
Have fun exploring and don't hesitate to jump in or to ask any questions.
