Where did my article go?

Good morning! I posted a "prayer" yesterday and don't see it. Last time I posted to free reprints, it posted immediately. Please let me know what is going on when you get a chance.

The best thing to do is send a message here http://www.faithwriters.com/corp-contact.php and see if they can track down the error. They'll probably need the name your registered under.

sOMETIMES FLUKEY THINGS CAN HAPPEN LIKE IF YOU TAKE TO LONG TO TYPE IT IN, YOU COULD(Sorry new keyboard and I keep hitting the cap lock) have been accidentally logged out. That has happened to me several times. You may need to resubmit it, but if you go to your profile page you will see all the stories that you have ever submitted to FW. So go there and you will be able to see if it is on the site somewhere.
If you go to the main log in page (not the forum one) on the right side there is an index of places to go and the first one is to your profile page or if you ever have left a comment on someone's work you can click on your name and that will take you there too (I use that one way more often because it's easy for me because I comment on a lot of challenge entries so it's easy to find my name.

Hi! I checked and it is in my profile under free reprints but is not showing under "prayers" or newest articles. Are you able to see everyone's profile and can check why it isn't posted? It is called "Am I ready for some...no, not football, CRITIQUING?!"

If you can't, should I just repost?

Also, my home page has a "profile create" under quick links but not "profile." I do have a link in the middle called "view your profile" and that takes me to a profile page with all my articles. It doesn't show my messages though. Do you want me to send you a screenprint? If so, what email address should I send it to?

Hi Marla.

Your article is there, it is placed in the "Free Re-print" instead of the regular submission. It is slightly different. Though you placed the subject as "Prayer" for the article, it was still done as a Reprint Article not in the regular Article Archives. But don't worry it IS still there.

When you sign in to your main FW account just down on the right side you saw the listing for Quick links.. Member's help, Profile Create, POST ARTICLES.. click on that one to post to the regular submissions. When you click the Reprint, that is where it will show up, as a Reprint Article.

Hope that helps. If it would be better for YOU, you can always submit it in the regular section as well.

As for the profile, it is best if you save a link to your profile in your computer's favorites menu as a bookmark. You can find it (your profile) by clicking your name on any of your articles. (Or.. to help a little more... click this and save the page it sends you to.

Oh thank you! I did resubmit it to the proper place. I do best at learning by trial and error apparently.
