I joined faithwriters back in the good ole day of 2006 and got lost sometime around 2009. It's been a long five years but I'm looking forward to getting in touch with old friends and meeting new ones.

There's been a fair number of returnees recently. I'm just wondering what brought YOU back?

Thanks Lillian. I mainly came back to join a community of like minded Christians who love to write. I missed the feedback and structure of the writing challenge and it just feels good to be huddled in with a group who want to praise the Lord with their thoughts and words. Thanks for the welcome back, John.

Welcome back. I'm sure you will notice a lot has changed in the past years. The biggest change are the new owners, Mike and Bea. They are delightful and really pour their hearts into this site. There is still the weekly challenge, though now you have to be a paying member to enter however, in Jan. they offered the nonpaying members four free chances to enter the challenge and decide if they like it or not.

There are also job opportunities that Mike sends out to the Gold and 500 members and monthly blogging contests that anyone can enter.

There is also a new project where they will be publishing a book filled with testimonies from members who want to share how they first found their faith or how faith has helped them through bad times.

I'm sure there are still some members around who you might remember. The people here really are sweet.
