Hi there, Challengeers. Put on your creativity. The week two topic is:
HANDIWORK
http://www.faithwriters.com/writing-challenge-intro.php
In this world of automation, creating something by hand can seem quaint and old-fashioned, or incredibly thoughtful and stress relieving. Sometimes making something myself is just what I need to slow down and appreciate what is around me. Working with your hands can seem to hearken to a simpler time, but sometimes what is made can be more intricate and detailed than anything you have ever seen. And, of course, we are God’s handiwork. There are several ways you can go with this: check out the definition below.
HANDIWORK
https://www.dictionary.com/browse/handiwork
Have fun with the topic. You can write in any genre or style you like, AS LONG AS SOME MEANING OF THE TOPIC IS THE MAIN FOCUS OF YOUR ENTRY ... and as long as the entry conforms to the rules.
And keep this in mind: Entries may be in any style or genre, and they do not need to be overtly Christian in message. However, they must, at minimum, come from a Christian worldview/outlook. In the case of fiction, the Christian worldview/outlook may be subtle or allegorical, but it should still offer a fairly clear Christian viewpoint.
Remember to check your word count before submitting (entries must be between 150 and 750 words). A very reliable and free online word count check tool is this one:

PLEASE, always hit the preview button to check your entry before hitting the final submit button. This is the only way to make sure your entry is uploaded correctly. This is very important, particularly if you are using HTML code for the first time. Once you have previewed your entry, close the preview page and hit the submit button.
Finally, once submitted, do a check to make sure your entry is safely in the list:

Hope to see you in the list with your own handiwork!
Love, Joanne

Re: Week 2 Challenge Topic - HANDIWORK
Would pictures of all my crafty projects that I think, ooohhhh I can do that, and only to find out I can't do that? Or does it have to be words. Teehee. They say a pic is worth a thousand words, so I guess I'd be overthe limit anyway!
