Week 3 Topic - Making Ends Meet

Postby Deb Porter » Sun Jan 19, 2014 10:27 pm

We're off and running again with Week 3 of the Writing Challenge, and this is one that I think many of us will relate to. This week's topic is:

MAKING ENDS MEET
http://www.faithwriters.com/writing-challenge-intro.php

As always this quarter, do with the topic whatever you desire, as long as the main focus of your entry relates to "making ends meet" in some way. You can go with the literal meaning or you can play around with it in some way. As long as it is obviously about the topic, you are fine.

Have fun, and feel free to chat about the topic here.

Love, Deb

My story had quite a different take on the topic. In fact, I may get points taken off, but I just wrote what came to me while I was typing along. I just love these challenges, they challenge the creativity in me!
God Bless the beasts and the children
Give them shelter from the storms.
Children are our tomorrow
Keep them daily from the sorrow
Of the beasts in life

You're on a roll, Lynn.
I'm sure what comes out of your creativity will be worth reading.

I love to write. Nothing escapes the crush I have on the written word. I'm hooked on words!!

This is a tough one. I played several angles, prayed several prayers and wound up saying, prayerfully - what He wanted me to write. I was raised on the high drama of making ends meet. I prefer to write about His drama , , , :shiney2
KJV Revelation 14:12
KJV Hebrews 10:26-31

BUCKETS OF RED INK WELCOME, THANKS!

Congratulations to all who not only win acclaim for your incredibly beautiful entries, but also to all contributing who feel His Holy Spirit move within us as we write to honor Him - all these wondrous heartbeats of praise to YHWH! I love you all.

Hi all! Just won my first award this week and was amazed! May God receive the glory and use the words to help in someway to further HIS kingdom!

Also, If I'm understanding the rules, do I now have to move to level 3 and if so does that happen automatically or do I need to go in and change it somewhere?

Thank you all and may God Bless you and yours, and Praise God that HE gives us all an opportunity to help spread the gospel through this web site!
Sincerely,
Cynthia Peoples (Cindy)

Hi Cynthia. Congratulations on your win. :superhappy

Yes, you are right. If you win 1st place in Level 2, it's time to move up to Level 3. (Don't worry if you already have an entry in for Light at the End of the Tunnel. That's normal.)

Then you stay in Level 3 until you place 3 times in the Editors' Choice. Once you do that, it's up to Level 4. :D
