I'm just going to make a slight adjustment to something Jan wrote. In this case, I strongly
suggest you don't write about a literal goldfish in a literal goldfish bowl. This is because of the word "Like" at the start of the topic for this week:LIKE Living in a Goldfish Bowlhttp://www.faithwriters.com/writing-challenge-intro.php
In other words, it is not really about living in a goldfish bowl. It is about feeling on display.
The judges will be aware of this distinction when rating the entries for topic.
I don't want to sound mean, but I just want everyone to be aware of that "like," which automatically cancels out a literal interpretation. Of course, if someone does writes an absolutely amazing entry about a literal goldfish in a bowl, then it still may do reasonably well (because all the other rating categories may be judged high), but it's not an ideal angle at all.
