I've walked in this world with suff'ring and pain...

Postby Rom1221 » Tue May 27, 2014 12:27 pm

This was not my original writing but I wish to share it anyways. This was a song translated from Romanian by me personally, but I hope you enjoy it anyways.

1) I've walked in this world with suff'ring and pain
but I'll move forward always;
through the blizzards and storms and trials of all kinds,
today, I'm here & I give you praise.

Chorus: /: I sing, I adore you, I give you my praise
and I'll tell everyone how I'll love you always
From morning till night, I'll exalt all my days
for the Lord is with me. :/

2) In the valley of thorns, I tread timidly,
looking for my tower.
The devil's so strong, and I am so weak,
but God will bestow me power.

Chorus: /: I cry to my God, "Lord, please come and help me,
with you, I can calm all my trials like seas
and I'll wave up my banner when comes victory"
for the Lord is with me. :/

3) I walk in the valley of the shadow of death,
in all life's storms and trials;
but I know that my Christ walks right beside me
so I'll walk ahead many miles.

Chorus) /: It was for my own life that Christ's blood was shed
he's our way and our friend, all like he said;
and now he awaits up in heaven ahead
for the Lord is with me. :/

4) It'll just be a while; we'll see Him quite soon,
our Lord, in joy, unfading;
Just a while longer; it'll all end quite soon
for our Lord, in glory, is waiting.

Chorus) /: This way we've all walked on, we've all come to cry
but wet cheeks can be brought just for Jesus to dry;
I'll always remember and lift your name high
for the Lord is with me. :/

-Amen-

Love this song. I have walked this world in suffering and pain until I met Jesus! Love it! It really should be recorded. :thumbs
God Bless the beasts and the children
Give them shelter from the storms.
Children are our tomorrow
Keep them daily from the sorrow
Of the beasts in life

Should be recorded, eh?

Well, here are the original lyrics in Romanian: http://www.resursecrestine.ro/acorduri/ ... -si-dureri

If you want to find the song on Youtube, copy in the first line of the song...

"Pribeag azi in lumea de chin si dureri"

...and then you can just listen to the people sing it with the tune but follow along with the English words.

Wow! I did not know that! Forgive me for not reading your entire post. My glasses are broken at this time, and with my old ones, I tend to miss things, and I was blown away by the beauty of the song. I will have to give it a listen to. Thanks!

Blessings, Lynn
