I can so relate to this -- proofread, subtract; proofread, add back in, or rearrange. Back and forth we go... I tend to keep all of my different versions of my entries at their various "growing" stages on my computer so I can compare. Plus, I can't bare to throw any of my "babies" away! It's funny to me too, that even though proofing and editing are extremely valuable, there is something wonderful about that hot-off-the-press article / poem in its original form. Thanks for Sharing, Lynn.

I know jerseygirl....we write our feelings and thoughts out so true....and then we modify.
