I am crossing the ditch in March to attend the Manifest Arts Festival which is essentially a four-day event for writers, dramatists, song-writers, and film-makers. Some stuff we do altogether; lots of stuff is streamed for interest areas.
Very very excited!
Am also taking 16-year-old son with me. It's being held at Avondale College which is one of our church-owned tertiary institutions and he's interested in studying there next year. Hoping this might be a little bit of a push in a good direction for him.... I haven't met with writers en masse for years.
