Jesus' eyes - flames of fire 4. fire of gun 5. where there's smoke there's fire My out of the box: (fire as in breaking a leg, injuries, etc.) Cheryl snatched her jacket from the hall closet and wriggled into it while taking a last ...

I took a little liberty: :D “Honey, are sure it won’t really gross you out?” Tina flipped her hair and turned sideways to view her reflection in the latest seafoam Michael Kors. “Oh puleeeze, MOM!” Jocelyn huffed, jockeying for position I front of her mom’s mirror. She whipped off the top of her “po...

future discussions
For future classes??? There seems to be alot of pieces, especially in the beginning categories where the writers use the first person POV. In looking back on the other "entries" oops - I didn't finish assignment Oh well. Just a question  I took the "stainless steel refrigerator" as necessary because I felt was an indication that the character had money? So I 'spounded on the idea.... Well if we were supposed t...

:D I so love this - it is so much fun! Here's my attempt: Jan trudged through the doorway of her large and now too-empty home. She allowed the Luis Vuitton satchel to slide to the floor and sagged against the wall. Raising an aching limb, she began to peel the pewter sandals from her throbbing feet....

homework
Thanks so much for doing this class! Am I too late for homework for the first class? Do you have a time limit? My choice is from Tracie Peterson's A Fragile Design: "William Thurston hunkered down in a rickety chair near the rear of Neil's Pub. His gaze remained fixed on the door as he hoisted ...

Thanks to all the "sons of encouragement"
:P Thanks, IAM4HIM - I really needed to read your comments. It's a great reminder - its true - I get ministered often by entries that aren't on the winner list. It does get a little disheartening at times - especially daunting in the Advanced Category where there's mindfuls of talent. I am much enco...
