Re: Pacific Coast Rest-Stop

Hello there! I know it has been such a long time since I have been on here. You are all still very dear to me- and I have been keeping up with those of you on facebook, and I have not forgotten any of you! This is a place of comfort and truly a place of rest. I guess the biggest reason for my absenc...

Re: Pacific Coast Rest-Stop

Well, I mainly thought Pup had suggested it because both he and my hubby are big fans and both can be old grouchy goats so I couldn't imagine a beautiful, sweet, charming butterfly like you watching the same show the old goats watch without some encouragement. So in my attempt to flatter you, did I...

Re: Pacific Coast Rest-Stop

Saw it before....? I feel I must set the record straight here by asking. Before what, or is that before Who? Have you watched all the old ones yet? As I watched the show back when I was a kid, which was before you were born, I watched it "before" and you just found out about it. :tongue Haha...

Re: Pacific Coast Rest-Stop

Pup harbors aliens in his basement. I'm a secret alien myself, Kara got hooked on Dr Who because Pup suggested it to her so they have conversations that many can't follow. The individualist in me squirmed a bit at this. I actually had been watching Doctor Who before, I just found out that Pup also ...

Re: Pacific Coast Rest-Stop

Oh cool, I actually want to one day write an enter Disney Classics Series and rewrite my favorites with a new modern twist. But that was one that isn't on my list. Yeah that's why I decided to do it- cause it doesn't seem to be on anyone's list so I took that as a challenge  Laura, I think de...

Re: Pacific Coast Rest-Stop

Kara, did you already tell us what your NaNo book is about? I can't think of it at the moment if you did. Tiara, sorry you missed the news about my party. You were invited. Yeah, I didn't read it if you did so I wanna hear what it is about and its okay Amy, I wouldn't have been able to come anyway....

Re: Pacific Coast Rest-Stop

Love the pics Amy- they look really nice! I agree about the makeup- not that it looked bad, but I guess cause most everyone knows you and its not really your style to wear so much. So glad you were able to get some professional portraits done- what a treat! Laura- prayers as you continue to recover!...

Re: Pacific Coast Rest-Stop

Tiara- love your banner! Sounds like an interesting story! I am excited cause this year I have more of a plot idea than last year- which ended up in my story not having much direction. I hope this year will be more productive!

Re: Pacific Coast Rest-Stop

Busy busy! Have you heard anything about Laura? Praying for her. Good to see ya buttbott! There doesnt seem to be enough hours in a day. Sigh. I am trying to figure how to juggle everything. Most families who live here hire house helpers to clean house and cook etc. I have never had the budget to do...

Re: Pacific Coast Rest-Stop

Becky, I don't think its that weird for you to experience this more recently. I think when you are in an accident and things like that your subconscious is more on edge?? For instance, my own experience of this, after living for quite some time in a place where giant spiders, snakes, giant grasshopp...

Re: Pacific Coast Rest-Stop

So we have made the decision to move house. Or at least start the process. Its a bit scary but exciting, especially since we have never moved in our married life. So much as we dislike the house it has all of our first memories associated with it. So I'm sure when the time comes it will be hard to s...

Re: Pacific Coast Rest-Stop

Thanks Amy  Glad it worked out for you to switch the day of your party- sometimes it doesnt work so well, so I am glad it did for you! And too bad I can't come, I seriously love parties and dressing up. Your writers group sounds like so fun- I know you have talked about it before, it would be ...

Re: Pacific Coast Rest-Stop

So I'm back home now, guess that means back to life as usual. Its been a bitter/sweet transition, but I am looking forward to getting back to writing! In other news, today we went out and bought a washing machine AND a dryer. After being married for 4 years we finally have our own laundry facilities...
